SEOAIO vs Gushwork

Gushwork sells done-for-you SEO and AI-search execution for SMBs, packaged as nine named AI agents with a human production layer behind them, at published prices of $800 to $2,200 per month. Founded in 2023 with a $9M seed announced in February 2026, it targets industrial, manufacturing and home-services businesses.

Every claim about Gushwork below is what we observed on 2026-08-21. Read on 2026-08-21: their ad landing page, homepage, pricing, AI Search Grader, alternatives page, sitemap and seed announcement. Trustpilot and Glassdoor figures come from search snippets because the hosts refused the fetcher, and cells relying on them say so. Products change after an observation date; if something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

Where Gushwork genuinely wins

  • They do implementation at a scale we do not attempt: content production, site work, backlink outreach, paid ads management and even voice lead qualification, under one subscription with no contract. If what you need is the work done, that is their product and not ours.
  • Real distribution: their announcement claims 1,000 plus businesses and $1.5M ARR within 90 days of beta, with named case studies carrying hard numbers and video. Whatever else is true, they solved the reach problem this whole category struggles with.
  • Publishing three fixed prices for a done-for-you service converts evaluators who never book calls, and most agency-shaped rivals hide theirs.
  • Expectation discipline on a paid ad page: a stated ramp of "5-10 qualified leads per month" by month four sets a real timeline instead of an implied miracle.

A comparison that concedes nothing is an advertisement. If the rows above are what you need most, they may fit you better than we do.

What mattersSEOAIOGushwork
Price transparencyPublished on /pricing: $99, $249 and $549 per month at launch, with every metered unit defined on the page, plus a one time Deep Scan at /deep-scan.Three public tiers at $800, $1,200 and $2,200 per month, observed 2026-08-21, which is unusually transparent for a service business. Three surfaces state three price floors, though: the grader funnel says plans start at $699, the pricing page says $800, and their Semrush agency listing says $1,599.
Engines measured, method disclosed4 engines measured live: Perplexity, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Claude. The list renders from the same table that gates sampling, and the method is public at /how-we-measure.Their free AI Search Grader reports sentiment, share of voice and what engines know about a brand. No methodology, sample size or confidence measure for any of it was found on the surfaces reviewed, observed 2026-08-21.
Evidence behind each numberEvery reported share carries its sample count and 95% Wilson interval, and opens to the stored verbatim answers behind it.Outcome numbers such as "40+ leads generated per month" are reported by the vendor whose work produced them, observed 2026-08-21. No independent instrument or per-number evidence chain was found for a buyer to verify cause.
Who grades the workWe execute nothing by default, so a bad number costs us nothing to show you. Implementation help is optional, quoted separately, and never touches the measurement. The same company does the work and reports the results, and their free grader feeds directly into their own sales funnel, observed 2026-08-21. An executor scoring your visibility has an interest in finding you invisible.
Reviews as stated vs reviews as foundWe display no aggregate rating anywhere, because no third party review base for us exists yet, and showing a self-hosted number instead would be manufacturing proof.Their ad landing page's schema markup claims 4.8 from 459 reviews, observed 2026-08-21. Search snippets on the same day showed Trustpilot at 4.4 from 31 reviews; the host refused our fetcher, so that figure is second hand. We found no public review surface carrying 459.
Free tier gatingThe free audit runs with no account, no email and no card, and the full result renders on the page, failures included.Credit where due, observed 2026-08-21: the grader shows real output before any gate, and only the deeper report asks for a work email. The paid ad path, by contrast, publishes no pricing and routes to a demo call.
Time series and monitoringScheduled re-measurement with stored history. Run-over-run movement must clear a significance test before it reports as a change; noise reports as cannot-tell-yet.A leads dashboard with buyer-journey tracking is included on every tier, observed 2026-08-21. It monitors leads produced by their own engagement; no independent longitudinal engine measurement was found on the surfaces reviewed.

The question-mark glyph marks a claim we could not confirm on Gushwork’s own surfaces; the cell says where it came from instead.

Check both vendors yourself

We are a vendor in this comparison, which is exactly why you should not take our table on faith. Four checks from our buyer’s guide, each one runnable against Gushwork and against us, in about ten minutes:

  1. 1.Does it ask the engines, or grade your markup? A result that returns instantly did not query an AI engine.
  2. 2.Who actually built the tool? Read the page source; a second brand in the code usually means a licensed skin.
  3. 3.Who profits from the fixes it recommends? A scanner owned by the company selling the remedy has no version that recommends doing nothing.
  4. 4.Can you see a real result before creating an account? A vendor confident in the result shows you one.

Our own answers are public: the method behind every number is at /methodology, and what we tell AI crawlers about ourselves is readable at /llms.txt.

Gushwork executes and we measure, and their own alternatives page draws the line for us: "Visibility tracker hands you a score. We do the work." Both halves are real jobs. The question their model cannot answer is the one ours exists for: when the vendor doing the work is also the vendor reporting the results, who checks? Run an independent measurement before and after any execution engagement, theirs included, and pay for outcomes you can see move.
