What a measured run costs
Before you trigger a paid measurement, we show what the last runs of that action actually cost on your site.
What it is
A cost line next to the Measure button showing what your previous Answer Share runs really cost, taken from recorded spend rather than a projection.
When to use it
Any time before triggering a measured Answer Share run, especially when deciding how often to re-measure.
Step by step
- 1Open Analyze and look beside the Measure button.
- 2Read the last run’s cost, and the average across prior runs where there is more than one.
- 3Nothing shown means this action has never run on this site yet.
What you will see
“Last run cost N credits”, with an average and a run count once there is history.
Measured, never manufactured
It says last run cost, never this run will cost. We are reporting a measurement, not making a prediction — the next run’s cost depends on how the engines answer. Before a first run we show nothing at all, because “we do not know yet” is the honest answer and a synthesized estimate would be exactly the manufactured number we argue against.
