Site audit: technical issues by page

A crawl of your site that lists the technical problems holding pages back, ranked by how much they matter.

What it is

A per-page technical crawl. It records what it found on each URL rather than scoring the site with one number, so you can see exactly which pages carry which problem.

When to use it

Before a content push, after a migration, or whenever the analyze pillars point at a technical cause you need to localize.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Site Audit in the sidebar.
  2. 2Run the crawl. The page budget is set by your plan.
  3. 3Read the issue list grouped by type, then open a type to see every affected URL.

What you will see

Issues grouped by kind, with the affected URLs listed under each and a count.

Measured, never manufactured

Pages we could not fetch are reported as unfetched rather than silently dropped, because a page missing from a crawl is not the same as a page with no problems.
