What Changed, and why

A measured diff between your last two runs, with the cause named whenever we measured it on both sides.

What it is

A feed of what actually moved between your latest analysis and the one before it. Where we measured the same underlying signal on both runs and it differs, the entry also names the cause.

When to use it

After any re-run, and any time a score moved and you want to know what did it.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Analyze or Monitor and find the What Changed feed.
  2. 2Read the change, then the note beneath it where one is present.
  3. 3No note means we could not attribute the movement to a signal we measured on both runs.

What you will see

Entries such as “Technical Health 71 → 64”, followed where possible by a measured cause — for example “GPTBot, ClaudeBot newly blocked in robots.txt” or “Organization schema no longer found”.

Measured, never manufactured

A note appears only when the same signal was measured on both sides and genuinely differs. We do not infer a cause from one run, we do not rank plausible explanations, and we never write “probably because”. Most changes therefore carry no note, which is the honest outcome — a guessed cause would turn an auditable diff into a story.

Drift: when a score falls below its own normal range

We compare each pillar against its own history, so an alert means genuinely unusual movement, not a number crossing an arbitrary threshold.
