- Added a genuine, server-rendered “Updated today” freshness date (the site really does recompute daily).
- Trimmed the homepage title from 67 to 57 characters so search engines show it in full.
What we refused to fake
- Faking a sameAs link to a LinkedIn/Crunchbase profile the brand doesn’t actually own.
- Inventing statistics or expert quotes just to move our own score.
- Adding a comparison table where a real comparison wasn’t warranted.
This is the honest version of a case study. We ran SEOAIO on our own astrology site, and it flagged real gaps. We fixed the ones we could fix truthfully, redeployed, and re-measured the live site.
We implemented two genuine improvements: a real “Updated today” date (the page recomputes from live planetary positions on every rebuild) and a shorter title that displays in full. That is it — and it moved our measured Visibility Score from 67 to 73, with the freshness check and the title issue both resolved on re-measure.
Our own tool also told us to “add credible statistics,” “add expert quotes,” and “connect to LinkedIn and Crunchbase.” We refused. We won’t fabricate statistics, invent quotes, or claim social profiles the brand doesn’t own — not even to inflate our own score. That restraint is the whole point of the product.
