SEOAIO vs Scrunch
The most advanced product we have reviewed in this category. Both of us monitor how AI engines answer about a brand. The difference is which findings are free, and what stands behind a number once you have it.
Their side reflects public pages we reviewed on July 27, 2026. Products change; if something here is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
Where Scrunch is genuinely strong
- Persona and geography as benchmark axes. Neither of those exists in our product today, and asking who is being answered is a genuinely better question than asking which domain was cited.
- Real-time AI bot crawl feeds, plus a technical audit that checks robots.txt, firewall and JavaScript barriers.
- Enterprise compliance we cannot currently answer: SOC 2 Type II, role-based access control, and a data API.
- Their free Brand Audit is the best lead tool in the category. A URL in, seven platforms out, with page-level citation data attached.
A comparison that finds nothing good in the other tool is marketing. If the rows above are what you need most, they may genuinely fit you better.
| What matters | SEOAIO | Scrunch |
|---|---|---|
| Checking whether AI answers about you are wrong | Answer Accuracy ships on every plan with no gate, checked against facts you declare yourself rather than against another model's opinion. | Their own site markets hallucination detection as an enterprise capability. Pricing is not published, so we could not confirm which plan it belongs to. |
| Does the engine list match the plan | The engine list is generated from the same table that gates sampling, so the marketing claim cannot exceed what your plan actually measures. | Their marketing names more engines than third-party pricing roundups say the entry plan tracks. Their site publishes no pricing, so we could not verify this first-hand. |
| Sentiment as a metric | We do not report sentiment. A model's opinion about another model's answer has no published rubric behind it, so we hold it until a measured signal exists. | Their brand audit reports sentiment on AI mentions as a headline metric. |
| Sample size and confidence | Every reported share carries its 95% Wilson interval and the number of answers behind it. | We found no sample sizes, intervals, or methodology page on the surfaces we reviewed. |
| Knowing the price before you talk to someone | Every tier and its measurement quota is published on our pricing page. | Their site publishes no pricing at any tier during our review. |
Scrunch is a strong product and an enterprise buyer with a compliance checklist should look at it seriously. Two things decide it for a smaller team: whether checking that AI describes you correctly should sit behind an enterprise conversation, and whether you are willing to act on a number with no sample size printed next to it.
