Track a keyword set per site, re-check its Google position on demand, and keep every reading as history.
What it is
A tracked keyword set for each site. Every check is a real SERP read stored as a dated reading, so you get a position history rather than a single snapshot. Absence is recorded as a measured null with the depth we searched attached, not as a blank.
When to use it
When you want the SEO half of the picture beside the AI half. Add the queries your customers actually type, then re-check after you ship a change.
Step by step
- 1Open Keywords in the sidebar and add the queries you care about.
- 2Click check to run a real SERP read. Each check is throttled to once per keyword per 20 hours so the plan quota equals your worst-case spend.
- 3Read the position, the change since the previous reading, and your best-ever position.
- 4Scroll to the rank-vs-answer table to see the same query's AI citation rate beside its rank.
What you will see
A row per keyword with its latest position, previous position, best position, and how many readings exist. A dash means measured absent from the top 100, which is a fact rather than an error.
Measured, never manufactured
A vendor failure writes NO reading, because an error is not a fact about your ranking. Untracking a keyword soft-deletes it so the history survives. The keyword COUNT is the plan ladder, not the feature: every paid tier tracks rankings, which is the opposite of the category incumbent that gates rank tracking to its top tier.
